That simple idea is the foundation of our company. The Ocean Minded brand was established in 1996 by Gary Ward, and was built on the principles of protecting our beaches, respecting the environment, and an overall love for life.

We make top quality footwear with unbeatable comfort, while utilizing natural and sustainable materials whenever possible. The Ocean Minded Global Headquarters is located in San Clemente, California, where we put all of our sandals and shoes through intense testing at our local beaches and parks.
